Tracy Quan – Former Sex Worker Discusses Her Transition to Author

2002, Business & Entrepreneurship, Sex & Gender
Presented By: Tracy Quan

Tracy Quan, a former sex worker and current author, talks about her career as a sex worker, writing, book publishing and why publishing a book was so traumatic. She speaks about how her career transition was more than moving from the bedroom to the book store, it was a lot broader and “weirder” than that. She gives us a history of prostitution and prostitution laws and describes that the type of marketing that helped her advance in her prostitution career did not transfer over to book publishing.
