Ken Danby on The Place of the Arts in Society

Contemporary realist painter Ken Danby describes his work as the restructuring of an image into a pointed depiction of reality and talks about the thought required to create any work of art. Art has the unique quality of acting as a thought-catalyst for otherwise untouchable parts of the brain, he says.
