Stanley Coren

A popular television and radio interviewee best known for his series of best-selling books on dogs, Stanley Coren is also a scientist and professor of psychology.

He has published numerous research reports, books and monographs, including a widely used textbook on sensation and perception. His research has covered such areas as human vision and hearing, neuropsychology, brain, brain laterality, handedness, birth stress, sleep, behaviour genetics and cognitive processing.

Stanley Coren is a professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of British Columbia, where he is also Director of the Human Neuropsychology and Perception Laboratory.
