Rebecca Brenner is a former child prodigy and virtuoso violinist, who made her debut appearance with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra in January 2002.

Brenner’s very first appearance was at the age of seven, with the National Academy Orchestra under the direction of Boris Brott. She has also appeared at the Brott Summer and Autumn Music Festivals, with the McGill Chamber Orchestra in Montreal and with the Toronto Philharmonia.

Besides the violin, Brenner also plays the piano, paints and loves mathematics. She studies ballet and jazz with Opera Atelier, made her stage debut at the age of six with the Canadian Opera Company in The Cunning Little Vixen and appears in a number of popular children’s animations (she is the voice of Prissy Uppity in Dumb Bunnies, Polie Pi in Rolie Polie Olie and Me in Amigo and Me). Brenner also played a starring role in the movie short Lollipops, featured at several international film festivals, including Toronto
