Mike Papantonio

Mike Papantonio

Mike Papantonio is one of the original founders of Air America Radio, one of the only progressive talk radio networks in the United States. Papantonio co-hosts, along with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the nationally syndicated, progressive radio talk show, “Ring of Fire.” It is a show that exposes the type of government and corporate corruption that America’s mass media has intentionally ignored throughout the last decade.

Before becoming active in progressive talk radio, Papantonio spent 20 years of his life as a trial lawyer trying environmental and defective product cases on behalf of American consumers. He was one of the original lawyers to initiate lawsuits on behalf of state Attorneys General against the tobacco industry. He is a fellow in both the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and the International Society of Barristers.

Papantonio is the author of three books about the legal profession: Resurrecting Aesop, Fables Lawyers Should Remember; In Search of Atticus Finch, A Motivational Book for Lawyers; and ClarenceDarrow, The Journeyman. The message he delivers through his writing and on an active speaking circuit is that America’s legal profession is failing to develop creative visionaries and innovators who are capable of promoting and guarding a sustainable American democracy.
