Lily Frost

Singer-songwriter Lily Frost occupies a very special place on the Canadian music landscape. With nine albums to her credit, she blends elements of rock, jazz, film noir, French chanson and swing. Frost has been all over the world; she’s sung in Africa, busked in New Orleans, and lived in Cairo singing nightly in a restaurant.

Between Egypt and Tahiti, Vancouver and Toronto, she has followed her passion for performing throughout the world. Recently it was Paris that fell under Lily’s spell when she brought her unique blend of sounds to their stages. She is an old soul whose timeless songs appeal to old, young and anyone who has ever experienced love.

Her sixth solo album, Viridian Torch, was a true love letter to Mother Nature and marks a bold new step in her career. Inspired by trips to her Grandfather’s place in Georgian Bay, the album features romantic strings, poetic lyrics and Parisian-influenced accordion.
