Keith Bellows
Imagine taking several thousand people on an exciting new adventure every time they turn a page. As the editor-in-chief and vice-president of National Geographic Traveler magazine since 1998, Keith Bellows is able to share his love of travelling with his readers.
He brings a rare combination of magazine, internet and television experience to his work. Before arriving a the National Geographic offices, he was executive producer of the ubiquitous Web search engine Excite, and creator/executive producer of the “Special Report” television show featuring Joan Lunden.
Before the early days of new media and Web publications, he was editor of the Smart Health/Smart Parenting Division of New York-based Meigher Communications, where he created and edited Smart Parenting magazine, and developed publication concepts for Hallmark, America’s Health Network and The Discovery Channel.
