Jerry Riopelle

Jerry Riopelle is a professional musician, recording artist and inventor. His credits include 12 albums as a singer/songwriter and scores and songs for many television and feature films.

Jerry was a staff writer for Screen Gems/Columbia music and a hit producer for Phil Spector’s Philles Records (also leader, keyboard player, choir director, and singer on the Righteous Brothers and Ronettes records.) He then joined A&M records as a producer/artist where he produced and/or wrote hits by many of their leading artists. After A&M he became a recording artist for Capitol Records (remaining a staff writer for A&M’s Irving Music) where he made the first and second Jerry Riopelle albums. These releases started a string of successful live performances across America and Europe. Kenny Loggins, Leon Russell, Phil Spector, Meatloaf, Joan Baez, Herb Alpert, Shango, Rita Coolidge, and many others have covered Jerry’s songs.

Currently, Jerry has developed an interactive music system that is unlike any existing musical instrument or device. “HumanBeams” enables anyone, of any age, with unique and totally natural human interface to play music. It introduces a new form of “sympathetic” interactive music that allows for improvisation without fear. The software also allows you to play along with hit recordings (now you are in Stevie Wonder’s band) and to stream accompanying video (for karaoke or instructions, etc.). The HumanBeams performer becomes a composer, soloist, percussionist, arranger, and recording artist
