Jane Juska

Jane Juska

After 40 years teaching English in high school, college and prison, Jane Juska embarked on the fulfilling adventure of finding men with whom to have sex. Those adventures appear in A Round-Heeled Woman, published in 2003, followed in 2006 by Unaccompanied Women: Late-Life Adventures in Love, Sex and Real Estate.

In between books, her articles have appeared in various anthologies and magazines. In the minds of some she has become an expert on sex among the elderly and, more recently, on aging.

She believes old age offers a freedom not available to the young. Her latest work was a novel in which a 70-year-old woman, no longer constrained by propriety, decides to kill people. Juska lives and writes in Berkeley, California.
