Jacksoul

The members of jacksoul are Haydain Neale, Davide RiRenzo, Dave Murray, David Oey, Corey Shields and Evan Thompson.

“Traditional to acid jazz, from soul, R&B and rock to all the hops from hip to trip” are the words used to describe the sweet sounds of Canada’s jacksoul.

With their second and newly released album, Sleepless, jacksoul, lead by front man Haydain Neale, is already a resounding success across Canada. The first single from Sleepless, “Can’t Stop”, has achieved Top 10 status and is enjoying heavy rotation on MuchMusic, MusiquePlus and MuchMoreMusic.

Mr. Neale, who penned and performed most of Sleepless with multi-instrumentalist and programmer Jon “Rabbi” Levine from The Philosopher Kings, has been compared to such vocal strengths as Seal.

The 29-year-old attributes much of his inspiration to his mother, however, who used to sing in a live theatre company when Mr. Neale was a child.
