Frank Nuovo

Frank Nuovo is the former Vice President and Chief Designer of Nokia. Prior to joining Nokia, Frank provided design and direction as part of the international design consultant agency Designworks USA/BMW. There he worked under award-winning design guru Charles Pelley.

Frank graduated from the world renowned Art Center College of Design and is a member of the Industrial Designers Association of America. He has been featured on the pages of Vogue, Harpers Baazar, Fortune, Newsweek, and the New York Times. He has also served as a Jurist on several design panels, including the IF Design Award 2001.

Frank’s life-long study and professional practice of art, music and design has provided him with a unique appreciation for the creative expression and a dynamic view toward the creation of trend-setting product designs. He is now the driving force behind Vertu, his new communications company, and serves as both its director and designer.
