David Ben



As a magician, David Ben has taken the world by storm. Since retiring from tax law to pursue a career in magic, he has co-written, performed and produced The ConjurorThe Conjuror’s Suite and Tricks.

David is the founder of Magicana, a registered charity dedicated to studying and promoting magic as an introduction to the arts. He is also spearheading Magic Hands, a program designed to use the process of learning, practicing and performing magic as an introduction to creativity and the arts for underprivileged and disadvantaged children.

When not performing magic, Ben spends his time acting as a keynote speaker on creativity, innovation and problem-solving to a broad range of associations and corporate clients in the United States and Canada.

Currently, David is developing a museum exhibition and theatrical presentation about Dai Vernon, the most influential magician of the 20th century, with funding from the Department of Canadian Heritage.
