Choir! Choir! Choir!

They’ve appeared and performed live with Tegan & Sara at the 2014 Juno Awards, with Patti Smith at the Art Gallery of Ontario, and at the Toronto International Film Festival’s 2012 Closing Night Gala. Led by Nobu Adilman and Daveed Goldman (AKA “DaBu”), hundreds of Torontonians gather at a downtown bar twice weekly (there is no commitment; there are no auditions) and, under the banner Choir! Choir! Choir!, they learn, rehearse, and record a song or two. Over the past four years, they have posted more than 250 covers, and gotten shout outs from the likes of Pearl Jam, Vince Clarke, Bryan Adams, and Haim. Now happening as a regular drop-in, and open to anyone who likes to sing new arrangements of pop songs, C!C!C! boasts a dedicated and passionate membership of inspired singers from in and around Toronto, Canada. Their choral arrangement for Tegan & Sara’s I Was A Fool was recently featured on Conan O’Brien, and their cover of Sloan’s Coax Me, featuring band members Chris Murphy and Jay Ferguson, is getting regular airplay on the radio.
