Patrick Chappatte on the Refugee Crisis
11/09/2015
In 2015 we were joined by political cartoonist Patrick Chappatte who spoke to the audience about his experience learning of the Charlie Hebdo attacks and how cartoons can be symbolic of something much larger than just sketches on paper.
Recently Chappatte has also drawn a cartoon for the International New York Times on the current refugee crisis over seas. Check out the cartoon here and comment below to let us know what you think. Is this cartoon just some drawings or does it represent something larger in our cultural landscape?
