Thelma & Louise – The Musical?

It seems not a week goes by without news of Neko Case performing someplace in North America or involved in some interesting artistic collaboration. But this one caught our eye: The indie singer-songwriter is reportedly working on the music for a reimagining of the iconic 1991 film Thelma & Louise as a musical. A musical? A musical! Amanda Seyfried and Evan Rachel Wood are currently attached to the project, while Callie Khouri — who wrote the original screenplay — is also on board.
