Libby Znaimer and Diane Francis are pioneering newswomen. Both rose in the ranks of Canadian journalists in the 80s to establish themselves as commanding voices in national conversations about business and politics. Both have broken glass ceilings in the male-dominated world of print and broadcasting news. And both have faced their diagnoses of cancer head on. Together on the ideacity stage in 2019, Libby shared details of her cancer journey before handing off to Diane, who spoke about how her newsroom training helped her processing a cancer diagnosis.
