A Very Vocal Activist

An ardent animal rights activist and vocal vegan, singer-songwriter Jann Arden has taken to Twitter with a campaign to get Ottawa to ban live horses-for-meat exports to Japan. That, on top of her podcast and a few recently-wrapped concerts, makes for one busy woman. And while we know Jann is a great musical talent, she’s also a comedic gem. There’s the eponymously titled sitcom and, at ideacity, this Talk that had the audience lit with laughter as she took a look back on family life.
