Michelle Ash – Digital Mining

Michelle Ash is the Chief Innovation Officer at Barrick Mining. The mining industry is being disrupted just like many other industries by technological advances. There are new and better ways to deal with mining waste. Encouraging the use of technology to make predictions, reduce safety risk, increase productivity, automate equipment, and plan for renewable and electric power are some of the things she is looking into.
