Tom Harpur
Tom Harpur the author of the national bestseller, The Pagan Christ and his most recent Water into Wine: An Empowering Vision of the Gospels. Harpur has been a compelling spiritual leader within Canada for several years. His extraordinary and ongoing successful book, The Pagan Christ, gained international recognition for its provocative argument for a mystical, rather than historical, understanding of Jesus Christ, and pointed the way to a radical rebirth for Christianity.
His hearty career has spanned seven years as an Anglican parish priest, seven years as a Professor of New Testament at the University of Toronto’s Wycliffe College, and thirty years as an award-winning journalist, Religion Editor and popular columnist at the Toronto Star covering ethics, spirituality and religion.
