Marissa is the Director of Policy and Government Relations for CARP, Canada’s largest association (over 300,000 members) advocating for Canadians as we age. She is responsible for researching and drafting CARP’s advocacy policies, statements and submissions, and developing and helping execute CARP’s government relations strategy.

Marissa also hosts theZoomer, an exciting and gutsy current affairs hour on VisionTV focusing on what’s important to Canadians 45 and older.

Previously, Marissa was a contributor on the Sun News Network (SNN), providing analysis and commentary. She also served as a guest host on SNN’s Byline with Brian Lilley, and on The Arena with Michael Coren.

Marissa holds an honours degree in political science from the University of Toronto, and a master of public policy degree from the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School at New York University.
